Application forms and Guide to Funding available at Commission office.

September 23 and October 15, 7:00 pm
Workshops for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Granting Program, Dr. Oswald D. Durant Memorial Center, 1605 Cameron St.

November 14, Friday - City's server to receive electronic application by 12 midnight.          
Completed on-line grant application needs to be received by the City's server by 12 midnight. In addition, one hard copy of the application should be received by 8 am Monday, November 17, 2008 to the Dr. Oswald Durant Memorial Center, 1605 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA.

December                                            
Applicants notified of dates of their meetings with appropriate grant Resource Panel.

2009

January                                               
Grant applicants meet with appropriate grant Resource Panel.

March 17                     
ACA's Public Hearing and Formal Action Meeting Fiscal Year 2009-2010 for grant application funding recommendations.

May 19
Grant application funding confirmation and/or  adjustments of conditional award amounts previously made.

June
Official notification in writing to recipients of Fiscal Year 2009-2010 grant awards

July 1  
All projects or organizations receiving funding for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 may begin their activities.

The Commission begins to process the first installment of the award.  Processing will take between 4 and 6 weeks.

2010

June 30                                   
All Fiscal Year 2009-2010 funded activities end.

The Commission begins to process the final installment of the award.

August 1
Final Reports due for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 activities.
