Daily Incident Report

ROBBERY:



200 blk. of Normandy Hill Dr. 01-16/ 1:25 p.m. The victim, a 44-year-old Alexandria man, was robbed by two suspects inside his apartment. The victim's car was parked nearby and advertised for sale by a sign in the window. The suspects contacted the victim and expressed interest in buying his car. When the suspects got to the victim's apartment, they tricked him into letting them inside. Once inside, the suspects restrained the victim and robbed him of cash. The suspects then fled and the victim immediately called police. He was not injured. Suspect #1 is described as a dark-complected black male, late 20s to early 30s, 6'-6'5", 180-230 lbs., and wearing a grey, knit wool cap, construction overalls and work boots. Suspect #2 is described as a light-complected black male, late 20s to early 30s, with short hair, a mustache and goatee, 5'9"-5'11", 250 lbs., and wearing a black, red and grey sweat suit and tennis shoes.



1300 blk. of Wythe St. 01-16/ 7:25 p.m. The victim, a 27-year-old Capitol Heights man, was robbed of his vehicle at gunpoint. The victim had parked his car, a green, 1991 Honda Accord station wagon, and left it running. As he left the vehicle, the suspect approached him, displayed a handgun and demanded the car. The victim ran from the scene and the suspect got into the car and drove away. The victim was not injured. The suspect was last seen driving from Route 1, onto the Beltway and into Maryland. He is described as a black male, 20-25, 5'10-6', 175-185 lbs., and wearing a black skull cap and a black puffy coat.



BURGLARY:



4596 Eisenhower Ave. 01-15/ 4:00 p.m. - 01-16/ 6:35 a.m. Someone forced open a door to gain entry to the business. Once inside, the suspect stole money and construction tools.



110 S. Bragg St. 01-15/ 10:00 p.m. - 01-16/ 6:30 a.m. Someone gained entry to the hotel room by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect stole money and other valuables.



100 blk. of E. Rosemont Ave. 01-15/ between 8:00 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Someone gained entry to the residence by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect stole money, jewelry and other items.



GRAND LARCENY AUTO:



4200 blk. of Raleigh Ave. 01-15/ 9:00 p.m. - 01-16/ 5:45 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Jeep Cherokee, SUV, blue.



1500 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 01-16/ 5:00 p.m. Stolen: 2000 Hyundai Tiburon, 2-door, teal.



4600 blk. of Seminary Rd. 01-16/ 8:00 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Mitsubishi Galant, 4-door, green.
