ROBBERY:

1000 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 03-31/ 8:45 p.m. The victim, a 40-year-old female City resident, was walking home when she was approached by an individual. The suspect grabbed the victim, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect then fled on foot. Then suspect is described as a black male, 5'6"-5'9" and was wearing a navy blue coat, a dark colored hat and dark pants.

BURGLARY:

1100 blk. of S. Washington St. 03-21/ 6:00 p.m. - 03-31/ 1:45 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole furniture.
