ROBBERY:
415 E. Monroe Ave. 04-15/ between 10:30 a.m. and 10:34 a.m. The victims, a 54-year-old Fairfax County woman and a 41-year-old City man, were working at the victim business when the suspect entered the drug store. He attempted to steal cartons of cigarettes and was confronted by the female employee. He struck her arm and then fled from the business with the cigarettes. The male employee followed the suspect and confronted him outside the store. The suspect displayed a knife and then ran away. Neither victim was injured. The suspect is described as a white male, 60, 6'2"-6'4" and wearing a grey jacket.
BURGLARY:
100 blk. of Moncure St. 04-15/ 9:45 a.m. - 04-16/ 12:30 a.m. Someone forced open a door to gain entry to the residence. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry and money.
6000 blk. of Lomack Ct. 04-09/ 1:00 p.m. - 04-13/ 1:00 p.m. Someone removed a lock to gain entry to the storage shed. Once inside, the suspect stole power tools.
100 blk. of Hilton St. 04-15/ between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Someone gained entry to the residence through an unlocked window. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry.
