ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

ROBBERY:
200 blk. of E. Glebe Rd. 06-12/ 4:00 p.m. The victim, a 16-year-old male City resident, was riding his bicycle when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect produced a knife and demanded the victim's bicycle. The victim complied and the suspect took the bicycle and left the area. A short time later, police stopped the suspect and questioned him about the robbery. As a result, the bicycle was recovered and the suspect, a 17-year-old male City resident was arrested, charged with Robbery and placed in the Juvenile Detention Center. During the investigation, police also identified two other men who took possession of the stolen bicycle and placed it in their mini-van near the scene of the robbery. These suspects; Ortiz-Lopez, a 22-year- old male and resident of 110 Lynhaven Drive and Cruz-Chavez, a 20-year-old male and resident of 1714 Monroe Street in Arlington, were taken into custody and charged with Possession of Stolen Property.
BURGLARY:
5600 blk. of Fillmore Ave. 06-12/ between 6:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a rear basement door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
4800 blk. of W. Braddock Rd. 06-12/ between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Stolen: 1967 Vespa moped, green.
