ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

ROBBERY:
500 blk. of N. Columbus St. 07-07/ 3:41 p.m. The victim, a 49-year-old female City resident, was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her briefcase and then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 5'4", 140 pounds and was wearing a gray knit cap, a long sleeved shirt, dark jeans and sneakers. The victim was not injured.
BURGLARY:
1100 blk. of Quaker Hill Dr. 07-03/ 3:00 p.m. - 07-05/ 7:55 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a side window. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry and electronic equipment.
2700 blk. of Franklin Ct. 07-04/ 12:30 p.m. - 07-06/ 6:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence without force. Nothing was stolen.
