ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, JULY 21, 2003

ROBBERY:

6000 blk. of Lowell Ave. 07-19/ 3:45 a.m. The victim, a 42-year-old male City resident, was sitting in his car when he was approached by an individual armed with a knife. The suspect reached into the car, stabbed the victim, and then stole his wallet and jewelry being fleeing on foot to a nearby car. The suspect entered a white Honda Accord and drove away. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injury and released. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, 26-28 years old, 5'5"-5'7", 150-170 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts.

BURGLARY:

1200 blk. of S. Washington St. 07-12/ 5:30 p.m. - 07-14/ 6:30 a.m. Someone entered the victim's storage shed by force and stole several tools.

1200 blk. of Wilkes St. 07-11/ 2:00 p.m. - 07-17/ 9:00 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole clothing items and money.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

2500 blk. of N. Van Dorn St. 07-16/ 7:00 p.m. - 07-17/ 11:30 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle, black.

5900 blk. of Quantrell Ave. 07-17/ 9:30 a.m. - 07-18/ 6:30 a.m. Stolen: 1988 Honda Prelude, 2 door, white.

1400 blk. of N. Pegram St. 07-18/ 11:55 p.m. - 07-19/ 1:20 a.m. Stolen: 2002 Honda Civic, 4 door, gold.

2500 blk. of N. Van Dorn St. 07-16/ 9:00 p.m. - 07-17/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2002 Suzuki motorcycle, silver.

1600 blk. of Princess St. 07-20/ between 4:00 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. Stolen: 2002 Suzuki motorcycle, silver.

300 blk. of S. Whiting St. 07-20/ between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Dodge Durango sport utility, silver.
