ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7, 2003

ROBBERY:

4600 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 08-06/ 9:00 p.m. The victim, a 19-year-old male City resident was walking when he was approached from behind by five individuals. One of the suspects demanded money, and a second suspect stabbed the victim. During the robbery and assault a third suspect removed the victim's wallet from his pocket. After the robbery, all five suspects fled on foot. The victim was taken to the Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries. The suspects, believed to be a part of a gang, were all approximately 16-18 years old, three of the suspects were white males and two were black males.
