ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FRIDAY, AUGUST 13, 2003

ROBBERY:

2500 blk. of N. Van Dorn St. 08-12/ 8:03 p.m. The victim, a 56-year-old female City resident, was approached from behind by a man on a bicycle. The suspect grabbed the victim's purse and rode away. The suspect is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, 5'5"-6', 150-160 pounds, who was wearing a dark shirt and dark shorts.

900 blk. of S. Lee St. 08-11/ 10:30 p.m. - 08-12/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2004 Volvo X90 sport-utility, white.

200 blk. of Jefferson St. 08-11/ 10:00 p.m. - 08-12/ 6:55 a.m. Stolen: 2002 Chevrolet Corvette, white.

200 blk. of Yoakum Pkwy. 08-05/ 5:00 p.m. - 08-12/ 10:30 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Cadillac Escalade, sport-utility, black.
