ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 2003

BURGLARY:

700 blk. of Timber Branch Pkwy. 08-20/ between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a kitchen window. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment, money and a set of keys.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

900 blk. of N. Columbus St. 08-19/ 5:00 a.m. - 08-20/ 1:07 p.m. Stolen: 1996 Nissan Maxima, 4 door, silver.

300 blk. of Hoofs Run Dr. 05-29/ 3:00 p.m. - 08-20/ 7:00 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Jeep Liberty sport-utility, green.

Intersection of S. Floyd and Duke St. 08-19/ 11:00 p.m. - 08-20/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Plymouth Neon, 4 door, grey.

SPECIAL NOTE:

Starting tonight at 9:00 p.m. and continuing until 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, Alexandria Police Officers will be conducting a stationary DWI checkpoint on the west end of the City.
