ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2003

ROBBERY:

100 blk. of Roberts Ln. 09-05/ 2:00 a.m. The victim, a 25-year-old female City resident, was walking home with a friend when they observed a slow moving vehicle behind them. The suspect driver reached out, grabbed the victim's purse and then fled from the scene. The vehicle is described as an older model black and grey Suburban and the suspect driver was described as a black male.

BURGLARY:

516 S. Van Dorn St. 09-07/ between 2:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. Someone entered the business by force and stole money.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

500 blk. of Jefferson St. 09-04/ 10:30 p.m. - 09-05/ 8:00 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Honda Civic, 2 door, red.

4800 blk. of W. Braddock Rd. 08-26/ 8:00 p.m. - 08-27/ 8:30 a.m. Stolen 2003 Suzuki motorcycle, black.

3600 blk. of Jefferson Davis Hwy. 09-06/ between 2:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. Stolen: 1991 Honda Civic, 4 door, black.

2500 blk. of N. Van Dorn St. 09-05/ 7:30 p.m. - 09-06/ 10:00 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Buick Regal, white.
