ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2003

FELONIOUS ASSAULT: 

100 blk. of W. Reed Ave. 09-16/ between 9:30 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. The victim, a 34-year-old Alexandria man, was walking when two suspects approached him. The suspects struck the victim in the face and then fled. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 15-22, 5'10"-6', 170-180 lbs., and wearing black pants, a green and white shirt, and a baseball cap. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 15-20, 5'10"-6', 190-200 lbs., and wearing a black shirt and black pants.

ROBBERY:

800 blk. of S. Alfred St. 09-16/ between 5:20 a.m. and 5:25 a.m. The victim, a 39-year-old Alexandria woman, was approached by three suspects. One of them struck her in face and then stole money from her pocket. She ran to a nearby gas station for help. She suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 20-22, 5'4"-5'6", 135-145 lbs., and wearing a tan jacket and black pants. Suspect #2 is described as a black male and 5'10"-6'. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 5'8"-5'10", 160-170 lbs., and wearing a black hat.

4400 blk. of Raleigh Ave. 09-15/ 3:00 p.m. - 09-16/ 8:15 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Dodge Intrepid, 4 door, gold.

5400 blk. of Sanger Ave. 09-15/ 9:30 p.m. - 09-16/ 6:39 a.m. Stolen: 1997 Volkswagen Jetta, 4 door, dark blue.

5300 blk. of Holmes Run Pkwy. 09-15/ 8:30 p.m. - 09-16/ 4:30 a.m. Stolen: 2001 Dodge Intrepid, 4 door, gold.
