ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2003
ROBBERY:
200 blk. of N. Lee St. 09-27/ 8:05 p.m. The victim, a 34-year-old female City resident, was walking when a man approached her from behind and stole her purse. The suspect was riding a bicycle at the time of the robbery and escaped from the area on the bicycle. The suspect is described as a black male, 6' and was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
Intersection of Edison St. and Mark Dr. 09-26/ 11:30 p.m. The victim, a 39-year-old male, was attacked by two men. The suspects approached the victim and began to punch him in the head. During the assault, the suspects went through the victim's pockets and stole property before escaping on foot. The suspects are described as black males who were wearing black or dark colored shirts, blue jeans and hats.
BURGLARY:
670 S. Pickett St. 09-27/ 9:00 p.m. - 09-28/ 11:00 a.m. Someone forced open a door to gain entry to the business. Once inside, the suspect stole money.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
500 blk. of Four Mile Rd. 09-28/ between 4:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Stolen: 1990 Ford Crown Victoria, station wagon, blue.
1400 blk. of Duke St. 09-21/ 8:00 p.m. - 09-27/ 11:00 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Ford Explorer, sport-utility, red.
100 blk. of S. Whiting St. 09-28/ between 5:00 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Stolen: 1999 Ford E-150 van, blue.
