ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2003
ATTEMPT ROBBERY:
1600 blk. of Walleston Ct. 10-7/ 8:40 a.m. The victim, a 53-year-old Alexandria woman was returning to her home from a walk, when two suspects drove up to her. They asked her a question but she kept her distance. The passenger got out of the vehicle and told her he was going to rob her. She yelled and ran to a nearby house for help. The suspects then drove away. The victim was not injured. No weapons were seen or implied.
The suspect vehicle is a 1998 grey Chevrolet with Virginia tags ADB - 9712. The suspect driver is described as a white male in his early 20s with an average build, reddish hair in a crew cut and wearing a white t-shirt. The suspect passenger is described as a black male in his early 20s, 5'7"-5'8" with a thin build, a thin mustache and wearing an English driving cap, long-sleeve black sweater and black pants.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
Unit blk. of W. Glebe Rd. 10-07/ between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Stolen: 1993 Honda Accord, 4 door, grey.
700 blk. of S. Royal St. 10-02/ between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Stolen: 1994 Ford E350 van, blue.
