ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2003

ROBBERY:

4600 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 11-06/ 9:33 p.m. The victim, a 32-year-old Arlington woman, had exited a store when the suspect approached her suddenly. He grabbed her purse from her shoulder and continued running. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male, 14-15, 5'7"-5'9", 140-160 lbs., and wearing a blue jacket.

BURGLARY:

5500 blk. of N. Morgan St. 11-06/ between 7:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Someone forced open a door to gain entry to the residence. Once inside, the suspect stole cash and jewelry.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

5400 blk. of Sheffield Ct. 11-04/ 4:00 p.m. - 11-05/ 5:30 a.m. Stolen: 1989 Oldsmobile Regency, 4 door, black.

1300 blk. of W. Braddock Rd. 11-05/ between 10:15 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Saab 900, convertible, black.

1200 blk. of First St. 11-04/ 9:00 p.m. - 11-06/ 3:13 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Dodge Intrepid, 4 door, silver.

4500 blk. of Duke St. 11-06/ 10:30 p.m. - 11-07/ 12:30 a.m. Stolen: 2000 Chrysler LHS, 4 door, silver.
