ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2003
ROBBERY:
3800 blk. of Russell Rd. 11-23/ 6:17 p.m. The victim, a 17-year-old male City resident, was walking when the suspect approached him and asked about a gold necklace he was wearing. The suspect grabbed the necklace from the victim and ran. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male teenager wearing a red shirt and blue pants.
500 blk. of E. Braddock Rd. 11-23/ between 8:20 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The victim, a 40-year-old female City resident, was walking along a path between Cameron Street and Braddock Road. The suspect approached her from behind and then displayed a gun. He demanded money and the victim stated she did not have any money. The suspect then ran toward Cameron Street without obtaining any money. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'11"-6', 170-190 lbs., and wearing black pants and a black shirt.
BURGLARY:
100 blk. of E. Monroe Ave. 11-24/ between 10:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Someone broke out a window to gain entry to the residence. Nothing appears to be missing.
300 blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 11-22/ 11:00 a.m. - 11-23/ 2:20 p.m. Someone gained entry to the residence by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry.
300 blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 11-22/ 8:00 p.m. - 11-23/ 1:40 p.m. Someone gained entry to the residence by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect stole money and documents.
2800 Shirlington Rd. 11-21/ 5:00 p.m. - 11-24/ 4:30 p.m. Someone forced open a door to gain entry to the business. Nothing appears to be missing. A second business at the same address was also targeted, but the suspect did not gain entry.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
3800 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 11-21/ between 6:30 p.m. and 9:25 p.m. Stolen: 1997 Honda Accord, 4 door, maroon.
