ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2003
ROBBERY:
1600 blk. of King St. 12-08/ 2:49 p.m. The victim, a 63-year-old male Maryland resident, was approached by a man who displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6"- 5'7" and was wearing dark blue pants and a dark blue jacket.
415 E. Monroe Ave. 12-09/ 1:55 a.m. The suspect entered the business, jumped the counter, and began grabbing cartons of cigarettes. A store employee attempted to intervene however, stood by after the suspect displayed a knife. The suspect, who is described as a black male, 30-38 years old, 5'8"-5'9", 120-140 pounds and was wearing a black puffy jacket, a black ski cap and black boots, then fled from the store on foot.
BURGLARY:
3900 blk. of Old Dominion Blvd. 12-07/ between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a bedroom window. Once inside, the suspect stole money.
801 S. Pickett St. 12-05/ 6:00 p.m. - 12-08/ 7:00 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means however, used force to gain entry into an interior office. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
