ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2003



FELONIOUS ASSAULT:

Intersection of Jefferson Davis Hwy. and E. Glebe Rd. 12-13/ 2:05 a.m. The victim, a 29-year-old male City resident, was driving his car when he noticed another car following him. The victim had stopped for a traffic light when he felt the car behind him strike his bumper. The victim exited his car to investigate the damage. When he did so, six individuals from the suspect vehicle exited their car and began to assault him. One of the suspects struck him with a broken bottle causing a laceration to his forehead. The suspects then left the area in their car, which was described as a blue Honda Civic. The suspects are described as five Hispanic males and one Hispanic female. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated and released.

ROBBERY:

4349 Duke St. 12-14/ 2:10 a.m. The victims, a 19-year-old female, a 21-year-old male, and a 17-year-old male, all City residents had just closed the business they were employed at and were walking to the parking lot when two men appeared and demanded money. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and the other had a metal baton in his hand. The victims were ordered to the ground and the suspects stole their wallets before fleeing on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a white male, 17-25 years old, 6'-6'1", 150-155 pounds and was wearing a black puffy jacket and a dark nylon cap. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 17-25 years old, 5'10"-5'11", 150 pounds and was wearing a black puffy jacket, a black scarf and blue jeans.

1200 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 12-13/ 10:55 p.m. The victim, a 23-year-old female and resident of Japan, was walking when she was approached by two men. One of the suspects displayed a handgun while the second grabbed her purse. Both suspects then fled from the area on foot. Both suspects were described as young black males who wore waist length black coats and one wore a white wool cap.

BURGLARY:

5500 blk. of N. Morgan St. 12-13/ between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a back door. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment.

111 E. Reed Ave. 12-09/ 6:00 p.m. - 12-10/ 6:00 a.m. Someone entered the business construction site by cutting the outside fence. Once inside, the suspect broke the padlock off of a container and stole two construction tools.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

800 blk. of N. Patrick St. 12-12/ between 6:20 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Stolen: 1990 Toyota Camry, 4 door, burgundy.

300 blk. of Yoakum Pkwy. 12-10/ 1:30 p.m. - 12-11/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 1992 Mercury Marquis, 4 door, beige.

5500 blk. of Holmes Run Pkwy. 12-12/ between 6:00 p.m. and 8:18 p.m. Stolen: 1988 Jeep Cherokee, 2 door, black.

500 blk. of Cameron St. 12-03/ 2:00 p.m. - 12-14/ 5:30 p.m. Stolen: 1999 Saab convertible, silver.

700 blk. of N. Henry St. 12-12/ 5:52 p.m. - 12-13/ 8:45 a.m. Stolen: 1985 Toyota van, silver.
