ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2004

ABDUCTION:

600 blk. of N. Patrick St. 02-11/ 7:50 p.m. The victim, a 31-year-old female, was walking back to her house when a man approached her. The suspect grabbed the victim and began to force her into her home. The victim struggled and resisted her attacker as she was being pushed to her front door. A relative of the victim, who was inside the home at the time, was walking towards the front door and his presence startled the suspect. The suspect then let go of the victim and fled from the area on foot. Police were called and stopped the suspect, Alvin Ferguson, a 28-year-old male and resident of 610 North Payne Street, a short distance away. He was questioned, brought to police headquarters and charged with Abduction. No weapon was displayed during the attack and the victim was not injured.

BURGLARY:

4900 blk. of Seminary Rd. 02-09/ 5:00 p.m. - 02-11/ 9:15 a.m. Someone entered the residence through a door and stole jewelry.

1700 Diagonal Rd. 02-07/ 6:30 p.m. - 02-11/ 5:30 p.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means and stole electronic equipment.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

5300 blk. of Eisenhower Ave. 02-09/ 3:00 a.m. - 02-11/ 8:00 p.m. Stolen: 1991 Jeep Cherokee, 2 door, grey.
