ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2004
ROBBERY:
Intersection of N. Washington and Madison Sts. 02-13/ 12:07 a.m. The victim, a 33-year-old female Arlington County resident, was approached by a man who asked her for some money. The victim pulled out her change purse and was about to give the man some money when he grabbed her purse and ran away. Police were called and stopped the suspect a short distance away attempting to flee from the area. The suspect, Earren Davidson, a 37-year-old of no fixed address, was taken into custody and charged with Robbery.
600 blk. of Notabene Dr. 02-15/ 12:43 a.m. The victim, a 29-year-old male City resident, was approached from behind by a man armed with a knife. The suspect stole the victim's wallet and fled from the area. The suspect was described as an Hispanic male, 5'9"-5'10", and was wearing a black coat, black hat, a red shirt and black jeans.
5500 blk. of N. Morgan St. 02-15/ 9:40 p.m. The victim, a 22-year-old male was about to enter his car in the parking lot when he was approached by two men. Both suspects were armed with guns and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects fled on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 18-23 years old, 5'4"-5'6", 165 pounds and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 19-24 years old, 5'10"-5'11" and was wearing a black shirt.
BURGLARY:
415 King St. 02-13/ 12:40 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole money.
2104 Mt. Vernon Ave. 02-13/ 7:00 p.m. - 02-14/ 1:05 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through a window. Once inside, the suspect stole money.
4660 Kenmore Ave. 02-13/ 6:00 p.m. - 02-16/ 4:15 p.m. Someone entered the business by force through the front door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
4660 Kenmore Ave.02-13/ 3:30 p.m. - 02-16/ 7:45 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment and postage stamps.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
600 blk. of N. Payne St. 02-12/ between 6:15 p.m. and 8:11 p.m. Stolen: 1994 Toyota Camry, 4 door, green.
