ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, MARCH 15, 2004
FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
5725 Edsall Rd. 03-12/ between 1:36 a.m. and 1:42 a.m. The victim, a 26-year-old Fairfax County woman, was punched in the face by an unknown suspect. She was at a convenience store when she saw the suspect concealing merchandise. She confronted him and he struck her in the face. He then fled from the store. The victim suffered a bloody nose but refused medical treatment. The suspect is described as a black male in his late 50s, 6', 190 pounds and wearing a black coat, black pants and a grey hat.
BURGLARY:
1100 blk. of N. Pitt St. 03-06/ between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Someone gained entry to the residence through an open door. Once inside, the suspect stole a wallet.
1900 blk. of King St. 03-03/ between 9:15 a.m. and 9:25 p.m. Someone broke out a door window to gain entry to the residence. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry.

100 blk. of W. Reed Ave. 03-13/ 11:00 p.m. - 03-14/ 12:00 p.m. Stolen: 1994 Nissan Pathfinder, SUV, green.
5300 blk. of Essex Ct. 03-13/ 6:00 p.m. - 03-14/ 7:00 a.m. Stolen: 1994 Honda Accord, 4 door.
5700 blk. of Eliot Ct. 03-13/ 6:00 p.m. - 03-14/ 3:25 p.m. Stolen: 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee, SUV, silver.
400 blk. of Holland La. 03-05/ 3:00 p.m. - 03-08. 6:30 a.m. Stolen: 2001 Kia Sephia, 4 door, gold.
2700 blk. of Duke St. 03-12/ 11:00 p.m. - 03-13/ 3:00 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Nissan Sentra, 4 door, red.
