ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
TUESDAY, MARCH 16, 2004
ROBBERY:
3200 blk. of Jefferson Davis Hwy. 03-15/ 9:10 p.m. The victim, a 49-year-old female City resident, was pumping gas at a service station when a man approached her, grabbed her purse and fled to a nearby vehicle. The suspect entered a tan 1995 Ford Taurus which left the area immediately after the robbery occurred. Approximately five hours later, the vehicle was stopped by police and the three occupants inside were detained. All three suspects were brought to police headquarters and questioned. Detectives continue their investigation.
BURGLARY:
111 E. Reed Ave. 03-12/ 5:00 p.m. - 03-15/ 6:30 a.m. Someone gained entry to the business construction site by force. Once inside, the suspect pried open a secured storage container and stole tools. The suspect also forced entry into the construction trailer and stole electronic equipment.
1503 Mt. Vernon Ave. 03-09/ 2:30 a.m. - 03-10/ 10:00 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through a rear window. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
100 blk. of S. Pickett St. 03-12/ 10:00 p.m. - 03-13/ 8:30 a.m. Stolen: 2004 Infiniti, 2 door, black.
