ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

800 blk. of N. Alfred St. 03-27/ 10:37 p.m. The victim, a 26-year-old male City resident, was shot with a handgun. The victim was standing in a nearby alley when two men exited a car, believed to be a large four-door sedan. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired it towards the victim striking him in the chest. Police and medics were called and the victim was transported by helicopter to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injury. Police began their investigation and apprehended one of the suspects believed to be involved however, the suspect responsible for the shooting had escaped. Investigation continues.
4000 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 03-28/ 2:00 a.m. The victim, a 21-year-old male City resident, was attacked from behind and stabbed multiple times. The victim believes two men were involved however, he could not provide a description of his attackers. The victim was transported by helicopter to the Washington Hospital Center where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries. Investigation continues.
Unit blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 03-27/ 12:45 a.m. The victim, a 32-year-old male Woodbridge resident, was delivering a pizza when he was approached by man wearing a black ski mask. The suspect then displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim initially struggled with the suspect in attempts to get away however, the suspect knocked the victim to the ground and discharged his weapon. When the victim fell to the ground, the suspect grabbed his car keys and his cellular telephone and ran away. The suspect then entered the victim's maroon 1993 four-door Toyota and drove away. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 6'-6',1", 160-180 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants. The victim was not shot.
3000 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 03-26/ 7:10 p.m. The victim, a 32-year-old female Arlington County resident, was walking to her home when she was approached by a man. The suspect displayed a handgun, demanded her purse and fled to a nearby car. He entered a silver four-door sedan and drove away. The suspect is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, 5'10"-6', 200-220 pounds and was wearing a dark coat and dark pants.
200 blk. of Yoakum Pkwy. 03-28/ 12:21 a.m. The victims, a 20-year-old male City resident and a 19-year-old male Sterling resident, were assaulted and robbed by four men. The victims were attacked from behind, knocked to the ground, assaulted and robbed. The suspects then fled on foot and were seen entering a vehicle, possibly a blue four-door Toyota, parked nearby which then immediately left the area. There was no description on the suspects.
694 N. St. Asaph St. 03-25/ 8:00 p.m. - 03-26/ 6:30 a.m. Someone broke a side window to gain entry to the business. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
208 N. Washington St. 03-25/ 7:00 p.m. - 03-26/ 8:15 a.m. Someone entered the business by force by breaking a side window. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment.

100 blk. of N. Gordon St. 03-27/ 9:30 p.m. - 03-28/ 12:16 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Chevrolet Lumina, 4 door, black.
