ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
3900 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 05-15/ 8:50 p.m. The victim, a 24-year-old Arlington man, was one of four subjects who had been involved in a fight inside Lillian's restaurant at the corner of Mt. Vernon Avenue and Bruce Street. The fight spilled outside and someone fired a gun, striking the victim twice. A relative of the victim transported him to Inova Alexandria Hospital and an ambulance transported from there to Inova Fairfax Hospital. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released the following day. The suspect has not yet been identified.
ROBBERY:
800 blk. of Tennessee Ave. 05-16/ 11:17 p.m. The victim, a 27-year-old female City resident, was grabbed from behind by a man who held what felt like a knife to her neck and threatened to kill her. The victim bit his thumb and managed to run away. Officers responding to the area located the suspect, Aaron Law, a 21-year-old male of 812 North Overlook Drive, and eventually charged him with Attempted Robbery.

300 blk. of Calvert Ave. 05-14/ 4:30 p.m. - 05-15/ 7:15 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Chevrolet van, white.
400 blk. of S. Whiting St. 05-14/ 11:10 p.m. - 05-15/ 9:48 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Acura Integra, 2 door, silver.
3000 blk. of Park Center Dr. 05-12/ 9:30 p.m. - 05-13/ 5:45 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Ford Taurus, 4 door, red.
5500 blk. of Sanger Ave. 05-11/ 8:00 p.m. - 05-12/ 6:00 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Chevrolet van, blue.
6000 blk. of Edsall Rd. 05-14/ between 8:45 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Stolen: 1996 Honda Accord, 4 door, green.
