ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

4600 blk. of Seminary Rd. 05-18/ 9:00 p.m. The victim, a 37-year-old male City resident, was approached by three men. One of the suspects grabbed the victim, a second suspect placed an unknown object to the victim's back, while the third suspect stole the victim's wallet. All three suspects then fled from the area on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 18-21 years old, 5'6"-5'8", 145-160 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt and sweat pants. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, 6'-6'1", 155-170 pounds and was wearing a white head band, a black t-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect #3 is described as a black male, 19-21 years old, 5'6"-5'8", 140-160 pounds and was wearing a grey sleeveless shirt and black sweat pants.
5800 blk. of Quantrell Ave. 05-20/ 2:05 a.m. The victim, a 23-year-old female City resident, was awakened by a man in her bedroom. The suspect attempted to attack the victim however, the victim struggled with the suspect and screamed alerting two others that were asleep in different rooms of the apartment. The victim's friend and a relative gave chase and ran after the suspect who exited the apartment and fled on foot. Police were called to the scene along with a Fairfax County Police K-9 team and conducted an extensive search of the area. They were unable to locate the suspect who was described as a heavy set male, with a dark complexion, 5'8"-5'9", 220-230 pounds who was wearing a grey shirt and light colored pants. The victim received minor injuries as a result of her struggle with the suspect and was treated at the scene by a medic unit.
There have been three other burglaries that had occurred in the month of April that are very similar to the aforementioned offense. The first offense occurred on April 20, between 1:45 a.m. and 1:52 a.m. in the 400 block of North Armistead Street. The second offense occurred on April 21, at 12:35 a.m. in the 5800 block of Quantrell Avenue and the third occurred on April 27, at 12:25 a.m. at the same high rise apartment building in the 5800 block of Quantrell Avenue.
On the evening of April 27, a 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with Attempt Robbery for the offense which occurred on the morning of April 27, at 5800 Quantrell Avenue. Detectives continue to investigate all of these cases. It should be noted that the16-year-old juvenile, who had been charged in at least one of these burglaries, has been incarcerated at the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Facility since his arrest.
100 blk. of S. Bragg St. 05-19/ between 12:47 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Someone entered the victim's hotel room without force and stole his wallet, luggage, electronic equipment, books and some prescription drugs.
