MONDAY, MAY 24, 2004


4300 blk. of Duke St. 05-22/ 12:35 a.m. Police were called to a domestic fight between two individuals. The victim, a 21-year-old female City resident, was in the rear of her home arguing with her ex-boyfriend. The suspect grabbed a hold of her and slammed her head to the sidewalk. He then held a knife to her and forced her back inside her apartment. The victim's mother was at home and attempted to intervene while the victim broke free and ran into her bedroom. The suspect grabbed knives from the kitchen and attempted to chase after the victim who had managed to flee from the apartment. The suspect emerged with two knives and confronted police who were now on the scene. Officers ordered the suspect to drop his weapons and when he refused, they shot him with their Sage gun, a less-than-lethal weapon. After being shot, the suspect dropped his knifes and complied with the officer's commands. The suspect, Keytric L. Robertson, a 22-year-old male of 2500 North Van Dorn Street, apartment 814, was taken into custody and charged with Felonious Assault, Abduction, Burglary and Violation of a Protective Order.

3300 blk. of Wyndham Cir. 05-18/ 7:30 p.m. - 05-19/ 8:20 p.m. Stolen: 1997 Dodge Neon, 4 door, black.

300 blk. of S. Whiting St. 05-22/ between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Stolen: 2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, silver.

5700 blk. of Duke St. 05-21/ between 5:00 p.m. and 6:19 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Cadillac CTS, 4 door, white.

1700 blk. of Dogwood Dr. 05-19/ 7:40 a.m. - 05-20/ 5:00 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Suzuki motorcycle, blue/white.

400 blk. of S. Pickett St. 05-20/ 7:00 a.m. - 05-21/ 7:00 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Chevrolet truck, white.
