ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, JUNE 7, 2004
BURGLARY:
1000 blk. of Oronoco St. 06-04/ 8:40 a.m. The victim was inside her home when she heard a downstairs door closing and went to investigate. As the victim walked down the stairs, she observed a woman standing in her kitchen. The victim immediately went back upstairs and called police. The suspect, described as a white female, 40-45 years old, 5'8"-5'9", 175-185 pounds and wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans, fled from the apartment. The suspect appeared to be confused and possibly mentally challenged. A search of the area by police did not locate the suspect.
3701 Mt. Vernon Ave. 06-05/ between 4:50 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means. Police were called after the report of an alarm. The business was checked and nothing appeared to have been taken or disturbed.

400 blk. of S. Pickett St. 06-06/ between 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Stolen: 2004 GMC sport utility, black.
400 blk. of N. Alfred St. 06-04/ between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Stolen: 1994 Chevrolet Corsica, 4 door, purple.
4800 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 06-03/ 9:40 p.m. - 06-04/ 9:40 a.m. Stolen: 2000 Dodge Intrepid, 4 door, silver.
