ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

ATTEMPT ROBBERY:
5900 blk. of Quantrell Ave. 06-14/ between 10:25 p.m. and 10:32 p.m. The victim, a 22-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking from a parking lot to an apartment building when she saw the suspect following her. As she approached the apartment building, the suspect ran up behind her and tried to grab her purse. The suspect struck the victim in the face and the victim screamed. The suspect fled without the purse. The victim did not require medical treatment. The suspect is described as a black male, 6'2"-6'3", 210-220 lbs., and wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
