ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, JULY 22, 2004
ROBBERY:
5400 blk. of Taney Ave. 07-20/ 3:00 p.m. The victim, a 9-year-old female City resident, was approached by a teenager, described as a 13-year-old Hispanic male who was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect assaulted her and stole her bicycle. Police were called and stopped a subject nearby riding the victim's bicycle however, it was not the same suspect who had committed the assault and theft of the bicycle. This suspect, a 13-year-old male City resident, was detained, charged with Petit Larceny, and released to his parents.
BURGLARY:
700 blk. of N. Fayette St. 07-18/ 6:00 p.m. - 07-21/ 8:00 a.m. Someone entered the residence without force through the rear door. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
400 blk. of Princess St. 07-20/ 10:00 p.m. - 07-21/ 7:00 a.m. Stolen:2004 Honda motorcycle, CBR100, red.
