ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2004

ROBBERY:

800 blk. of N. Columbus St. 08-11/ 10:13 p.m. The victim, a 34-year-old male City resident, was walking from the metro station when he was approached by an individual. The suspect asked for money and then grabbed the victim around the neck. A struggle ensued and the suspect managed to take the victim's money before running away. The victim sustained bruises as a result of the fight however, did not require medical attention. No further description on the suspect at this time.
