ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, AUGUST 12, 2004

BURGLARY:

5800 blk. of Merton Ct. 08-10/ between 10:05 p.m. and 10:16 p.m. Someone entered the residence through a unlocked patio door. The victim had just returned from the apartment laundry room when she discovered a man standing in her livingroom. When she questioned him, the suspect left through the same sliding glass door he used to enter the victim's residence. Nothing was taken. The suspect is described as a white male, 6"-6"1", 175-180 pounds and was wearing a green t-shirt and blue jeans.

1320 Braddock Pl. 08-09/ 10:00 p.m. - 08-10/ 7:00 a.m. Someone entered the business's parking garage booth by prying the outside lock. Once inside, the suspect stole a laptop computer.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

4100 blk. of Duke St. 08-10/ 5:58 p.m. Stolen: 2000 Hyundai Sonata, grey.

2400 blk. of Eisenhower Ave. 08-10/ between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Stolen: 2002 Dodge ram pickup truck, blue.
