ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2004



ROBBERY:

Unit blk. of S. Ingram St. 09-03/ 4:00 p.m. The victim, an 11-year-old male City resident, was robbed by force. The victim was approached by three juvenile suspects. One of the suspects grabbed his arms while another stole money from his pocket. All three suspects then fled on foot. Suspect#1 is described as a black male, 15-16 years old, 5'6", and was wearing a white shirt and blue shorts. Suspect #2 is described as a black male 15-16 years old and was wearing a white shirt and blue pants. Suspect #3 is described as a black male, 10 years old, 4'2"-4'3".

Intersection of Edison St. and E. Reed Ave. 09-04/ 1:00 a.m. The victim, a 30-year-old male City resident, was approached by a man. The suspect grabbed the victim's gold necklaces and ran away with them. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male who was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

INDECENT EXPOSURE:

4700 blk. of Duke St. 09-02/ 10:58 a.m. The victim, a 38-year-old female City resident, was sitting on a park bench along the Holmes Run bike path when she observed a naked man emerge from the woods. The suspect, a white male, had shoulder length grayish scraggly hair, approximately 5'8"-5'10", and weighed 180 pounds. The man began walking towards the victim who immediately got up from the bench and ran away. Police were called and searched the area however, were unable to locate the suspect. Additional police foot patrols have occurred over the holiday weekend and will continue this week along the Holmes Run area.

BURGLARY:

700 blk. of N. Overlook Dr. 09-03/ between 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole money and the victim's gray 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe, sport utility vehicle.

Unit blk. of S. Whiting St. 008-29/ 2:40 p.m. Stolen: 1995 Plymouth Voyager van, maroon.

5700 blk. of Harwich Ct. 09-03/ 11:30 p.m. - 09-04/ 8:45 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Honda Civic, hatchback, blue.

200 blk. of S. Whiting St. 08-27/ 7:00 p.m. - 08-28/ 5:00 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Dodge Stratus, 4 door, red.

400 blk. of N. Armistead St. 09-03/ 9:45 p.m. - 09-04/ 8:45 a.m. Stolen: 1994 Honda Civic, 2 door, maroon.

900 blk. of N. Alfred St. 09-03/ 11:00 p.m. - 09-04/ 3:00 a.m. Stolen: 1991 Dodge Caravan.

400 blk. of N. Armistead St. 09-01/ 5:30 p.m. - 09-02/ 12:59 p.m. Stolen: 2002 Honda Accord, 4 door, dark blue.

4600 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 09-02/ between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Stolen: 1991 Jeep Cherokee, red.

4300 blk. of Taney Ave. 09-05/ between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Honda motorcycle, silver/black.

4400 blk. of Taney Ave. 09-05/ between 2:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Suzuki motorcycle, silver/black.

600 blk. of Bashford Ln. 09-04/ 10:00 p.m. - 09-05/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2002 Honda motorcycle, black/silver.

200 blk. of W. Alexandria Ave. 09-05/ between 3:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Stolen: 1992 Cadillac Eldorado, 2 door, dark blue.
