ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2004
ROBBERY:
Unit blk. of S. Reynolds St. 09-06/ 11:35 p.m. The victim, a 22-year-old male City resident, was attacked by a group of men. The victim was approached by at least three, perhaps four men, who stole his hat, jersey, and jewelry. The victim was not injured as a result of this assault and robbery and the suspects fled on foot. A short time later, after the victim ran away and entered a nearby convenience store, the suspects returned. They approached the victim and this time stole his sneakers and money before leaving the store. One of the suspects was described as a black male, 18-20 years old, 5'6"-5'8", 160-180 pounds with corn rows.
BURGLARY:
1006 Madison St. 09-06/ 8:30 p.m. - 09-07/ 10:00 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through a rear door. Once inside, the suspect stole money and cigarettes.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
1200 blk. of N. Royal St. 09-03/ 6:00 p.m. - 09-04/ 12:00 p.m. Stolen: 1998 Dodge Ram van, grey.
5900 blk. of Edsall Rd. 09-06/ 9:00 p.m. - 09-07/ 1:00 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Buick Park Avenue, 4 door, white.
4300 blk. of Taney Ave. 08-27/ 8:00 a.m. - 09-06/ 9:00 p.m. Stolen: 1996 Honda Accord, 4 door, light blue.
