ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2004

FELONIOUS ASSAULT:

100 blk. of Dale St. 9:40 p.m. The victim, a 25-year-old man Washington, D.C. resident, was shot twice by an unknown suspect. Police searched the area for a suspect described as a black male, 5'8", 150 pounds who was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants shortly after their arrival on the scene however, the suspect was not located. Investigation revealed that one shot struck the victim in the upper body, the other hit his leg. The victim, in good condition, was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. No motive has been established and police continue their investigation.

BURGLARY:

4900 Seminary Rd. 09-27/ 6:15 p.m. - 09-28/ 7:30 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through a back door. Once inside, the suspect entered an office suite and stole money and electronic equipment.

1700 Eisenhower Ave. 09-28/ 6:15 p.m. - 09-29/ 6:30 a.m. Someone entered a locked construction trailer by force through a rear door. Once inside, the suspect stole money and electronic equipment.

2200 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 09-28/ between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole electronic equipment.

200 blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 09-28/ 8:35 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through a front glass window. Once inside, the suspect stole telephone calling cards.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

3000 blk. of Park Center Dr. 09-29/ between 12:05 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Ford Expedition, sport utility, black.
