ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2004
ROBBERY:
3300 blk. of King St. 10-13/ 4:25 p.m. The victims, a 14-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, both City residents and students at TC Williams High School, were robbed by five suspects. The suspects approached the two students, implied they had a knife, and robbed them of a laptop computer and a hat. Police were called and stopped the suspect vehicle in the area. The car was occupied by four men; two juveniles and two adults. The suspects were questioned and one of the adult males, Jovan Powell, a 20-year-old of 9806 Kisconko Road in Fort Washington, Maryland, was arrested and charged with Robbery. Three other suspects were detained and eventually released. The fifth suspect, a 19-year-old student at TC Williams High School, had escaped on foot. He was caught a short time later, detained and questioned by police. The computer was recovered. The investigation is continuing and additional criminal charges are pending.
BURGLARY:
4720 King St. 10-14/ between 2:45 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through the front door. It is unknown if anything was stolen.

3000 blk. of Park Center Dr. 10-06/ 9:00 a.m. - 10-09/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Yamaha motorcycle, silver/black.
5000 blk. of Seminary Rd. 10-11/ 11:00 p.m. - 10-12/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Mitsubishi Montero, 4 door, blue.
2200 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 10-11/ 10:00 p.m. - 10-12/ 10:00 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Nissan Sentra, 2 door, grey.
