ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2004
ROBBERY:
200 blk. of E. Glendale Ave. 10-20/ 7:56 p.m. The victim, a 32-year-old Alexandria man, was walking home when he was approached from behind by a man carrying a baseball bat. The suspect demanded money and the victim complied. The suspect then walked away and met up with a second suspect standing nearby. Both suspects left the area and police were called. A short time later, police stopped both suspects, questioned them and transported them to police headquarters. Timothy James, a 26-year-old, of 20 Kennedy Street and Timothy Lewis, a 28-year-old male, of 2900 Commonwealth Avenue were both charged with Robbery.
BURGLARY:
500 blk. of Four Mile Rd. 10-19/ between 11:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole a laptop computer.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
1200 blk. of Martha Custis Dr. 10-13/ 4:00 p.m. - 10-19/ 4:30 p.m. Stolen: 2001 Ford Focus, 4 door, gold.
