ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2004

ROBBERY:

6000 blk. of Edsall Rd. 11-01/ between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. The victim, a 47-year-old Alexandria man, was in a parking lot unloading his car when two suspects approached him. They held an object the victim believed to be a knife against his side and demanded his wallet. The victim gave the suspects cash and they both fled. The victim was not injured. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 15-20, 5'10"-6', 160-180 pounds, and wearing a tan, hooded coat. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 15-20, 5'6"-5'8", 150-170 pounds and wearing a dark, hooded coat.

BURGLARY:

4900 Seminary Rd. 11-05/ 9:30 p.m. - 11-06/ 4:30 p.m. Someone gained entry to the business by breaking through a wall. Once inside, the suspect stole money.

300 blk. of Yoakum Pkwy. 11-04/ between 6:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Someone cut through wire to gain entry to the storage area of the residence. Once inside, the suspect stole luggage.

5700 blk. of Dunster Ct. 11-03/ 6:00 p.m. - 11-04/ 6:30 a.m. Someone forced open a door to gain entry to the residence. Once inside, the suspect stole money.

300 blk. of Ashby St. 11-03/ 11:00 p.m. - 11-05/ 11:30 p.m. The suspect gained entry to the residence through a window. Once inside, he stole electronic equipment, a bicycle and other items. Police located a suspect nearby and arrested him. Elmer Lee King, Jr., 39, of 310 Ashby St. in Alexandria, was charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny. He is being held without bond at the Alexandria jail.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

3600 blk. of Edison St. 11-05/ 11:30 p.m. - 11-06/ 6:30 a.m. Stolen: 2000 Honda Accord, 4 door, green.

Unit blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 11-05/ between 9:30 a.m. and 9:34 a.m. Stolen: 1978 Ford F-100, pick-up truck, red.
