ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2004



BURGLARY:

4601 Duke St. 12-18/ 12:00 p.m. - 12-20/ 8:00 a.m. Someone forced entry into a night deposit box and stole money.

Unit blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 12-19/ 11:30 p.m. - 12-20/ 6:30 a.m. Someone entered the residence by force through an unlocked front door. Once inside, the suspect stole a purse.

4400 blk. of Taney Ave. 12-20/ 11:29 p.m. Police received a call regarding a burglary that was in progress. Upon arrival at the apartment complex they discovered a broken basement window. The suspect, Robert Alsberry, a 42-year-old male with no fixed address, was found hiding in the storage area. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Burglary.

Special Note:

Alexandria police have obtained warrants for a man who stole a car with a sleeping child inside last week. Moses Campbell, 38, of no fixed address, is being held in DC and, pending extradition, will be formally charged in Alexandria with Grand Larceny Auto and Child Endangerment.
