ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, JANUARY 3, 2005
825 N. Washington St. 12-30/ 10:50 a.m. The victim, a 38-year-old Manassas man, was assaulted by two restaurant employees. The victim customer entered the restaurant and exchanged words with store employees. Two employees followed the victim as he exited the business and began to assault him. The victim was struck in the head and neck with gardening tools. Police were called and both suspects were taken into custody. Muhammed Imitiaz a 38-year-old male resident of 7603 Sheffield Village Lane in Lorton, and Khan Anwar, a 38-year-old male of 2992 Sleaford Court in Woodbridge, were charged with Felonious Assault. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries.
1319 King St. 01-01/ 1:00 a.m. The victims, a 21-year-old Lake Ridge man and a 24-year-old Woodbridge man, were involved in a bar fight. Police were called to a large fight that had started in the bar and spilled out onto King Street. Most of the individuals left the area before police arrived on the scene. Both victims were transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where they treated for their non-life threatening injuries. During the fight, the 21-year-old victim suffered a severe bite to one of his fingers.
800 blk. of N. Patrick St. 01-02/ 12:22 a.m. The victim, a 17-year-old male from Suitland, was shot in the leg and ankles. Police were called to the area for a reported shooting and found the victim in an alley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigation revealed that the victim had just left a party when he heard the sound of gunshots. He attempted to run away but realized he had been shot. The victim crawled to a nearby alley where he remained until police arrived. A black male, 6', 160-180 pounds wearing all white and a black ski mask was seen running from the area after the shots were fired. The victim was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries.
3300 blk. of Jefferson Davis Hwy. 12-30/ 9:00 p.m. The victim, a 35-year-old Dumfries man, was just leaving a business when he was approached by a man with a gun. The suspect displayed the weapon and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 19-23 years old, 5'10"-5'11" and wearing a black coat with a fur collar and black pants.
814 N. St. Asaph St. 12-29/ 4:00 p.m. - 12-30/ 8:30 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through a second story rear window. Offices were ransacked, however, nothing appears to have been stolen.
1000 blk. of Harrison Cr. 12-31/ between 9:45 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. Someone entered the residence by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole money, jewelry and food items.
4100 blk. of Usher Ave. 12-31/ 4:35 p.m. - 01-01/ 6:00 a.m. Someone entered the residence, which was under renovation, by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect opened boxes that contained kitchen cabinets, however, nothing was stolen.

300 blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 12-30/ 8:00 p.m. - 12-31/ 12:30 p.m. Stolen: 1989 Cadillac Brougham, 4 door, black.
500 blk. of S. Pickett St. 12-29/ 5:00 p.m. - 12-31/ 8:30 a.m. Stolen: 1991 Mercury Cougar, grey.
4200 blk. of Duke St. 01-01/ between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Stolen: 1999 Honda Accord, 4 door, silver.
300 blk. of S. Reynolds St. 12-30/ 11:30 p.m. - 12-31/ 2:30 p.m. Stolen: 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, sport utility, black.
