ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5, 2005



FELONIOUS ASSAULT:

4200 blk. of Duke St. 01-04/ 3:30 p.m. The victim, a 42-year-old Alexandria man, was stabbed by a known suspect. The victim and suspect were in the victim's apartment when the suspect took a knife and stabbed him. The suspect fled but was apprehended nearby. The victim was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition. The suspect, John A. Bell, a 49-year-old male and resident of 4105 Usher Avenue in the City, was charged with Malicious Wounding.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

2500 blk. of N. Chambliss St. 12-25/ 8:00 p.m. - 12-26/ 12:30 a.m. Stolen: 1994 Honda Accord, 4 door, green.

5300 blk. of Knole Ct. 12-22/ between 1:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Stolen: 1996 Honda Accord, 4 door, green.

4660 Kenmore Ave. 01-03/ between 8:25 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Stolen: 1999 Volkswagen Beetle, 2 door, yellow.

600 blk. of Four Mile Rd. 12-24/ 11:30 p.m. - 12-25/ 2:30 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Mercury Cougar, 2 door, green.
