Daily Incident Report




1100 King St. 01-29/ between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. The victim, a 31-year-old male Fairfax County resident, was driving his Yellow Cab when he picked up a customer at King and Fayette Streets. A dispute between the victim and his passenger occurred and the victim cab driver stopped the car in the 1100 block of King Street. The suspect exited the cab and forcibly ordered the driver out of the car and into the back seat. The victim complied. The vehicle was then driven the wrong way on Patrick Street by the suspect and stopped by police officers in the area. Investigation revealed that the victim cab driver, fearing for his safety, had jumped from the vehicle while the suspect was driving and sustained minor scrapes to his hands. The suspect, Michael J. O'Hare, a 26-year-old male, of 3900 Bentley Drive in Columbia, South Carolina, was taken into custody and charged with Abduction, Carjacking and Driving Under the Influence.


6000 blk. of Edsall Rd. 01-28/ 8:35 p.m. The victim, a 52-year-old female City resident, was walking home when she was approached from behind by a man. The suspect grabbed her purse and fled from the scene on foot. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'10"-6", 130 pounds and was wearing a black coat and a grey shirt.

5700 blk. of Dunster Ct. 01-28/ 1:20 a.m. The victim, a 31-year-old male City resident, was delivering a pizza when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects raised his hand, displayed an unknown object, and demanded money. The victim complied and the two men fled from the scene with the victim's money and his cellular telephone. Suspect #1 is described as a tall black male, and was wearing a black sweat suit with a hood. Suspect #2 is described as a tall black male.


200 blk. of S. Jenkins St. 01-29/ between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2004 Ford Ranger, pickup truck, white.

4600 blk. of Seminary Rd. 01-29/ 9:00 p.m. - 01-30/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 1993 Chrysler Town & Country, 4 door, green.
