ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

800 blk. of First St. 03-02/ 7:45 p.m. The victim, a 55 year old male City resident, was walking home when he was approached from behind by three suspects. One of the suspects hit him in the head with an unknown object causing a small laceration. After the assault, the suspects fled on foot. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injury. All three suspects were described as wearing black jackets and dark pants.
4700 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 03-06/ 1:50 a.m. The victim, a 51-year-old male City resident, was parking his taxi cab when five suspects approached him. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. The other suspects began to assault the victim and knocked him to the ground. The suspects searched through the victim's pockets but then fled from the scene on foot. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries. The suspects are described as males, 18-21 years old, and all were wearing black jackets with hoods and dark pants. The victim reports that nothing was stolen.
2700 blk. of Duke St. 03-03/ 4:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole a purse, electronic equipment and jewelry.
3141 Duke St. 03-06/ 7:28 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means. It does not appear that anything was stolen.
5800 blk. of Quantrell Ave. 03-05/ 10:15 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole money and a money order.

200 blk. of Yoakum Pkwy. 03-05/ 4:00 p.m. Stolen: 1991 Ford Escort, 4 door, white.
