ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, MARCH 14, 2005

ROBBERY:

900 blk. of Gibbon St. 03-12/ between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. The victim, a 43-year-old female City resident, was walking to the store when she was struck in the head knocking her unconscious. When the victim woke up, she discovered someone had taken money from her coat pocket. There is no description on the suspect and the victim refused to be transported to the hospital after a medic unit arrived on the scene.

1400 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 03-12/ 6:30 p.m. The victim, an 82-year-old female City resident, was putting groceries into her car when she was approached by a man. The suspects grabbed her purse and ran away. The suspect is described as a white male, 18-25 years old, 5'11"-6', 175-185 pounds and was wearing a black parka and a black cap.

BURGLARY:

3141 Duke St. 03-12/ between 12:30 a.m. 7:15 a.m. Someone entered the business by breaking the front glass door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

900 blk. of N. Henry St. 03-10/ between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Stolen: 1987 Ford Econoline van, white.

3900 blk. of Executive Ave. 03-10/ between 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Stolen: 1996 Toyota Corolla, 4 door, black.

4300 blk. of Duke St. 03-11/ between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Stolen: 1994 Hyundai Excel, 2 door, grey.

400 blk. of N. Armistead St. 03-11/ 9:30 p.m. - 03-12/ 8:00 a.m. Stolen: 1996 Honda Civic, 4 door, white.

5400 blk. of Sheffield Ct. 03-12/ between 10:00 p.m. and 10:05 p.m. Stolen: 1995 Plymouth Neon, 4 door, green.

4700 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 03-12/ between 8:30 p.m. and 8:51 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Toyota Camry, 4 door, tan.
