ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16, 2005
BURGLARY:
900 blk. of Wolfe St. 03-14/ between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Someone attempted to enter the residence by kicking the front door. A black male, 5'8"-5'10", 180-190 pounds with long braided hair, a salt and pepper mustache and goatee, blue eyes and wearing a black baseball cap, red and black jacket with a Redskin jersey underneath, was seen repeatedly kicking the front door and trying the door knob. He was unable to gain entry into the home.
100 blk. of Yale Dr. 03-14/ between 9:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Someone entered the vacant residence by undetermined means. It appears that a number of suspects may have been living or staying in the residence as there were sleeping bags inside some of the rooms. The suspects started a small fire inside the house which prompted a response by the Fire Department. Police were told that the home has been vacant for approximately one year.
