ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

ROBBERY:
3400 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 03-30/ 9:35 p.m. The victim, a 53-year-old female City resident was waiting for a bus when she was approached from behind by a man. The suspect grabbed her purse and ran away. The suspect is described as a male who was wearing dark clothing.
1200 blk. of N. Quaker Ln. 03-29/ 11:40 p.m. The victim, a 49-year-old male cab driver, picked up a passenger at the King Street metro station and drove him to Quaker Lane. Upon their arrival, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 23-25 years old and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
Intersection of W. Glebe Rd. and Mt. Vernon Ave. 03-29/ 10:30 p.m. The victim, a 37-year-old male City resident, was approached by two men. One of the suspects displayed a knife, searched the victim's pockets and stole money. Both suspects, described as Hispanic males 17-18 years old and wearing black hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans, then fled from the area on foot.
BURGLARY:
900 blk. of N. Chambliss St. 03-30/ between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a rear door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
