ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, APRIL 11, 2005
100 blk. of N. Alfred St. 04-08/ 9:15 p.m. Two victims, a 17-year-old female from Prince William County, and a 20-year-old male from Fairfax County, were carjacked and forced to drive to Breezewood, Pennsylvania. The victims had just exited a restaurant and were walking to the car, a 2002 Chevrolet Tracker, when they were approached by a man. The suspect implied that he had a weapon and forced the victims into the car. The suspect ordered them to drive and remained with them until they stopped at a gas station in Breezewood. The male victim went into the gas station convenience store and told the clerk to call police. A short time later, the suspect and the female victim also entered the gas station. The male victim struggled with the suspect and police arrived on the scene. The suspect, who is not being identified at this time, was taken into custody by Pennsylvania authorities and charged with assault. The victims drove back to Alexandria and reported the incident to police the following night. Investigation by Alexandria detectives is continuing.
1200 blk. of Wythe St. 04-03/ 12:00 p.m. - 04-08/ 8:30 a.m. Someone entered the residence by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole kitchen items and clothing.
400 blk. of Pendleton St. 04-09/ 3:00 p.m. - 04-10/ 5:54 p.m. Someone entered the residence, which is under construction, by force through the front door. It is unknown if anything was stolen.

400 blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 04-07/ 11:45 p.m. - 04-08/ 1:30 p.m. Stolen: 1996 Plymouth Voyager van, grey.
5300 blk. of Duke St. 04-07/ 7:00 p.m. - 04-09/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 2002 Yamaha motorcycle, blue.
