ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, MAY 12, 2005

ROBBERY:

Unit blk. of Canterbury Sq. 05-11/ 4:16 p.m. The victim, a 38-year-old male City resident, was delivering a pizza when he was approached by a man. The suspect punched the victim in the head and threatened him before stealing his pizza. A second suspect grabbed the pizza and both men fled from the area on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a white male, 20-25 years old, 5'5"-5'7", 180-200 pounds and was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. Suspect #2 is described as a white male, 20-25 years old, 5'-5'5", 130 pounds.

1400 blk. of N. Beauregard St. 05-11/ 9:04 p.m. The victim, a 50- year-old female Stafford County resident and store manager at the grocery store, was approached by a black male with a handgun. The suspect demanded money and took the cash drawer from the victim before fleeing on foot. The suspect who was seen entering a green vehicle in the parking lot, is described as a black male, 25-35 years old, 5'4"-5'5", 140-145 pounds and was wearing a khaki hat, plaid shirt and blue jeans.

BURGLARY:

500 blk. of N. View Terr. 05-05/ 7:30 p.m. A small group of juveniles entered the victim's garage and stole a bicycle and two baseball bats. The suspects then fled from the scene and police were called. The stolen property was recovered and the initial investigation by police resulted in the identification of all four suspects. The juveniles were apprehended; two 13-year-old City residents and two 14-year-old City residents. All four juveniles were charged with Burglary and have been detained at the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center.
