ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS WEDNESDAY, MAY 25, 2005 ROBBERY: Unit blk. of W. Reed Ave. 05-24/ 11:30 a.m. The victim, a 22-year-old male City resident, was walking home when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects demanded money and then pointed a handgun at the victim. The second suspect removed the victimís wallet and then both men fled on foot. The victim was not injured. Police later located one of the suspects and arrested him. A 17-year-old male from New Jersey was charged with robbery. The second suspect, who remains at large, is described as a black male in his teens, 5'10", 150 lbs., and wearing blue jeans. 3023 Duke St. 05-25/ 1:18 a.m. The victim, a night clerk at the convenience store, observed two men enter the store. One of the suspects implied that he had a weapon and went behind the counter. The suspect stole wine, cigarettes and cigarette lighters placing the items in a bag. The second suspect stood by and then both men fled from the store on foot. There were no in juries. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, 6"-6'2", 175-200 pounds, and was wearing a black jacket, ball cap and blue jeans. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, 5'10", 150-160 pounds and was wearing a black jacket and ball cap. INDECENT EXPOSURE: 3600 blk. of Russell Rd. 05-23/ 11:20 a.m. The school office manager at Grace Episcopal School reported that a man exposed himself to a group of young children while they were out outside playing. After the exposure, the suspect walked away walking eastbound from the school. Two girls; 10 and 11 years old, reported seeing the suspect. Police searched the area but did not locate the man who was described as a white male with short black hair, 30-40 years old, 5'8"-5'9", 140-150 pounds and was wearing dark pants and a dark shirt. BURGLARY: 16 Sweeley St. 05-23/ 6:45 p.m. - 05-24/ 8:00 a.m. Someone entered the business through an opened window. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment. GRAND LARCENY AUTO: 800 blk. of N. Iverson St. 05-23/ between 1:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Suzuki, SV650S motorcycle, orange.
