ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

BURGLARY:
4001 Eisenhower Ave. 06-01/ 8:30 p.m. - 06-02/ 2:45 a.m. Someone entered an enclosed gated area of the business, which belongs to the Northern Virginia Park Authority, by cutting the outside lock. Once inside, the suspects also broke into a shed and damaged a cash register, two soda machines and a change machine. Police also discovered that a fire extinguisher and an amusement token machine were stolen. While Alexandria police officers were investigating the burglary, Fairfax County police officers had made a traffic stop and were questioning the three occupants. The suspects, all adult men18-19 years of age, were transported to the Franconia sub-station for further questioning. Alexandria detectives will be conducting a follow-up investigation on this case. Felony charges are pending.
