ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

ATTEMPT FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
6000 blk. of Edsall Rd. 06-20/ 3:00 p.m. The victim, a 14-year-old female City resident and some of his friends, were chased by two Hispanic males, one was armed with a knife. The victim and his friends were walking along the sidewalk when they heard two young men yelling out to them from a nearby apartment complex balcony. The two suspects then gave chase as the victim and his friends ran away. Police were called to the scene and began their investigation. The two suspects were identified and brought to police headquarters for further questioning. Both suspects, a 16-year-old City resident and a 17-year-old Fairfax County resident, were charged with Attempt Felonious Assault and Gang Participation. Both suspects were transported to the Juvenile Detention Facility and held overnight.
BURGLARY:
1500 blk. of Portner Rd. 06-18/ 2:00 p.m. - 06-20/ 6:30 a.m. Someone forced entry into a construction trailer and stole tools.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
100 blk. of S. Reynolds St. 06-19/ between 10:15 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. Stolen: 2005 Infiniti sport utility, grey.
4800 blk. of W. Braddock Rd. 06-19/ 10:15 p.m. - 06-20/ 6:40 a.m. Stolen: 2000 Honda Civic, 2 door, red.
4700 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 06-19/ between 12:01 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Chevrolet Caprice, 4 door, silver.
